Why is your meat more expensive?
We understand that our Kurubota pork is more expensive than traditional pork you can pick up at the grocery store. The reason why our pork is expensive is because there is a lot of love and intention that goes into our pork operation. Not only is Kurubota pork considered a heritage pork and is more flavorful, we raise our hogs free-range and keep them antibiotic- and hormone-free. As a result, they are better for the environment and health. While it is a higher price to pay, our customers repeatedly confirm the value in what we produce.
Do you sell quarter, half, or whole pigs?
We do. If you would prefer to purchase a quarter, half, or whole Berkshire hog, the pricing is $4.10 for quarter, $3.99 for half, $3.79 for whole. Email or call us today to place your order.
Is your farm organic?
While we are in the process of becoming a fully organic farm, we are not 100% certified organic. Rather, we employ sustainable practices such as regenerating the top soil, raising our livestock humanely and free-range, and cultivating food pesticide-free.
Where is Froelich Farms located?
We cultivate foods on the prairie on the western side of South Dakota. We ship out of Sturgis, South Dakota.
How do you ship your products?
To ship our quality meats to customers around the United States, we package the frozen cuts with dry ice in insulated styrofoam boxes. They are shipped 1-2 days and always arrive fresh.
What if I have an issue with my order?
Please contact info@froelichfarms.com and someone will be in touch with you shortly. If for some reason you are unhappy with your purchase, we will do our best to accommodate you.
Delivery
How do you ship food?
We ship our meats frozen on dry ice in insulated boxes with styrofoam. We ship through the U.S. Post Office with 1-2 day shipping.
Do you delivery locally?
We are in the process of organizing a local delivery system for a smaller flat fee.
Can I come pick up my order?
Local customers may coordinate a pick-up at Froelich Farms for no additional fee.

Our verified and secure system allows for payment through the website. You can ensure your information is safe and will not be shared.
Why is the cost of shipping expensive?
While we wish we could lower our base rates for shipping, the cost of insulated boxes, dry ice, and the inflated economy mandates that we cover the costs of shipping by deferring that cost to the customer.
Do you accept cryptocurrencies?
Not at this time, no.
